Physiotherapist
Peter Lee is a senior physiotherapist who is currently doing his Masters in exercise management of chronic low back pain.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with additional qualifications in post graduate certificate in Western Acupuncture. He also has completed Bachelor of Science, majoring in Human Physiology.
Peter is fluent in Korean and graduated from University of Otago. He has worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist for professional athletes and multiple sporting teams including, New Zealand representative cross-fit athletes, and the NBL Manawatu Jets. Peter has also previously worked as a physiotherapist for Lavie Tennis Academy, helping youth professional players stay on the court.
Peter has a special interest in treatment of acute and chronic low back pain. He has a great passion in rehabilitation of spinal conditions including, spinal disc prolapse, post-op discectomy, spinal fusion, scoliosis, facet arthropathy and rare spinal deformities. Peter believes muscle balance and stability is key to preserving a healthy spine in chronic spine pathologies.
Peter has passion in playing racket sports including tennis, badminton and squash. When not on court, he enjoys tramping and experiencing New Zealand’s great scenery.
