Scott Macdonald is an experienced physiotherapist and co-owns Link Health and Fitness with Jessica.

Qualifications

Scott holds a BHSc Physiotherapy with additional qualifications in vestibular physiotherapy, massage and dry needling.

Bio

Scott Macdonald graduated from AUT and has worked as a physiotherapist in various private practice settings in Christchurch and Auckland. He has several years of clinical experience in treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, injury rehabilitation and post-operative physiotherapy care in the community.

Clinical Interests

Scott enjoys expanding his knowledge in the field of sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy care. He has an interest in managing injuries, strength and conditioning and the management of dizziness, concussions, and vestibular conditions. He has completed further training in dry needling, and has qualifications in swim coaching and triathlon coaching. Scott is an experienced former triathlete with a interest in all things running, swimming and cycling related including movement analysis and bike fits.

Personal Interests

Scott used to be a very keen triathlete but now just enjoys keeping fit whether it be in the gym, pool, or out on the road which is a good thing as he finds himself spending the rest of his time eating his wife’s baking. Scott is currently learning reformer pilates from Jess, swimming, and running in his spare time.
